Jim has over 25 years of executive recruiting experience in a variety of disciplines including Hospitality, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology.

His introduction to the gaming industry came in 1991 when Jim was approached by the investors of the first non-restricted riverboat operation in the country to provide executive recruiting and human resource consulting. He acted as the Human Resource Director during the start up and opening of this facility. Jim was responsible for total staffing, benefit implementation, training, coordination with the State Gaming Board on licensing requirements, compensation programs, etc.. In 1993 the company became publicly owned and is now a multi-jurisdictional organization. Since then J.E. Wottowa & Associates exclusively recruits in the gaming and hospitality industry. 

Jim has been involved in local, state and national recruiting trade organizations serving in many capacities including President, National Ethics Chair and Membership Chair. He received the Association's Distinguished Service Award, the highest honor in the organization for his dedication and performance. Jim is currently a member of the Casino Management Association.

Ken became involved in the gaming industry in 1990, after a distinguished 30+ year career in the stock brokerage industry. He was a consultant to take the nation's first non-restricted riverboat operation from a privately held local company to a public company. That operation has now emerged as one of the country's leading multi-jurisdictional operations. Ken joined J.E. Wottowa & Associates in 1996 as a recruiter in the gaming division and, due to his recruiting success, has now assumed a senior management role in the company. Ken is a graduate of Westminster College and had an outstanding collegiate athletic career. After college, Ken played professional baseball for 5 years and was recently admitted to the St. Louis Baseball Hall of Fame.

Marty comes to us with more than 25 years of experience in sales, sales management, and marketing. In 1981 he worked as a Senior Recruiter at J. E. Wottowa & Associates . He specialized in top level executive positions, working with client companies as well as candidates in a variety of areas.

Marty then took a position with the sales & marketing arm of a Fortune 500 company where he enjoyed a successful career as Sales Director over a 10 State region and later as National Accounts Manager specializing in the company’s largest clients.

Marty has now re-joined J. E. Wottowa & Associates to manage our Business Development group. He is married and has two sons. His hobbies include baseball, golf and fishing.
